EE Program Program Educational Objectives Program Educational Objectives - This set of Program Educational Objectives has been developed by the ECE Departmental faculty as a result of feedback from Program students, alumni and other industrial professionals, a Departmental advisory group, and various Collegiate groups. We define our Program Educational Objectives as professional characteristics that our graduates should exhibit three to five years following their graduation. Program Outcomes are defined as characteristics and skills that our students must have upon graduation. The following table lists the EE Program Outcomes and cross references these outcomes with the program educational objectives and the a-k ABET outcomes (PDF format, Word format). These program specific outcomes were developed in consultation with constituancies such as the EE Program students, industry, and other groups. The following table describes the contributions of the required ECE courses to the program outcomes. (PDF format, Word format) This flowchart illustrates the major events that will occur each academic year in order to assure that the EE Program is converging toward the achievement of its stated Program Educational Objectives and Program Outcomes. The current ECE ABET outcome assessment principles were adopted 10/14/03. The Course Descriptions listed below describe the relationship between the Program courses and the EE Program Outcomes.
